The Papagiannakos estate also exploits plots of old vines in the central Peloponnese, close to Nemea, from where this fine blend of agiorgitiko and cabernet sauvignon comes from. Agiorgitiko is a native grape, very prolific in this region, which gives the wine its powerful and aromatic character. Cabernet Sauvignon is known around the world for its tasting quality and its high tannin content. Purple, this vintage combines balance, roundness, and flexibility. Its nose is distinguished by scents of fresh red fruits and vanilla. It can be enjoyed young, but becomes more subtle with a few more years of aging in the bottle.

Papayiannakos established the first bioclimatic winery in Greece, which is situated at Kalogeri position, in Markopoulo, close to Vravrona archaelogical site.
In 1919, the grand father of Papayiannakos family fills the first barrel and a new history begins. Since 1960, the new generation of the family maintains the high quality in wine maiking, combining the family tradition with the environmental conditions of the region, the warm, mediterranean climate and the fertile Attica land along with the new vinification methods applied.
