The Monemvasia Winery was founded on September 20, 1997 in Monemvasia, Laconia by George Tsimpidis, The area has a strong wind potential that together with its geomorphological elements make it excellent for the cultivation of the vineyard. It offers an ideal raw material for the production of excellent quality wines. Monemvasia is a rather rare variety that gives pleasantly cool and delicious wines just like this nice version from Laconia. Its color is light lemon green. In the expressive aroma we can easily distinguish the citrus peels and the pear, but also some notes of dough and white flowers. The taste is round, with freshness and fruity aftertaste. It is a very gastronomic wine that goes well with both Mediterranean and Asian cuisines, but is also drunk as an aperitif.
