The grape “Melissaki” (small bee in English), once endangered, was planted by the family Lyrarakis in 2010 in the family vineyard “gerodeti” in the mountainous region of Alagni in Central Crete. This single varietal wine offers an intense bouquet on aromas of aromatic herbs (lemon balm, citrus fruit). On the palate, the attack is lively, balanced and elegant with a nice crunchy acidity. The finish surprises with its length.
