The Gofas estate is located north of the Peloponnese next to the mythical river Assopos, from where the wine derives its name. Pale pink with hints of salmon, this rosé is made from the autochthonous grape “Agiorgitiko” with a small amount of Syrah, well acclimated to the region. On the nose we find an alluring explosion of red fruits (strawberries, cherries, cherries) with a delicate touch of exotic fruits (watermelon, pineapple). On the palate, its sweetness is well controlled with a crisp acidity and even spicy. Its long finish bears witness to the persistence of the aromas of a semi-dry quality wine, which has been carefully crafted.
